John

John has been a runner since 1967. He went from being a 100 yard dash sprinter in High School, to running 10,000 meters by his last race in college. These days he enjoys running with his wife Cindy and their dogs. His favorite running saying is, “It’s supposed to be fun.”

Nick

Originally from Michigan, Nick moved to Colorado in pursuit of his childhood dream. He loves helping others pursue their own passions and believes any size goal is achievable. Nick enjoys camping and exploring new areas in the mountains in search of bodies of water (because he’s from the Great Lakes State).

Becky

After chasing six year olds for 30 years, Becky now runs for the fun of it!  She loves being outdoors and gardening.  She’s proud to be a third generation native of this beautiful state.  Becky also loves running all over the state to be with her favorite people-her kids!!!!

Drew

Drew is a native to Colorado and feels most at home on the trails and in the mountains. Drew ran cross country and track throughout high school and ran a single season of cross country in college. He immediately quit collegiate running to pursue trail running and ultra marathons as he finds great joy in getting his butt kicked by big peaks, and that simply was not happening enough while training for flat races.

Lisa

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Lisa has called Colorado Springs home since 1997. She is the proud mom of 2 teenage boys (18 & 16) who thrives on adventure and connection. Lisa started running as an adult when a friend asked if she would be a training partner for a half marathon in 2011. She has since gone on to run multiple half marathons, a marathon and an ultra. She’s usually training for something!

Peyton

Peyton ran four years of high school track and is going into his junior year as a Long Jumper & Triple Jumper for UCCS. He likes to go hiking and camping during his free time.

Zev

Originally raised in Malibu, California, I moved out to Colorado Springs to run for UCCS in 2015. I ran for UCCS for 4 years while studying a BS in Health and Wellness Promotion with a Minor in Nutriton. Currently, I coach cross country and track at Discovery Canyon High School. I also coach with the Kokopelli Racing team, alongside Lisa Rainsberger. When not coaching, I am still training as a distance runner, with goals of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Marathon Trials. I love everything endurance and one day hope to move up the ranks and become a cross country and track coach at the collegiate level. My goal is to share my experiences with younger athletes and hopefully make them feel confident in their own abilities and show them that anything is achievable, with the right mindset. I love helping people feel good and I am excited to help the Colorado Springs community alongside The Colorado Running Company.

Val

Val did most of her growing up in Lexington, South Carolina. She started running track and field in 2007 and cross country in 2009. She was an All Region Champ for the state of South Carolina from 2009-2012 and a 4A State Champ runner up in 2011 and a 4A State champion in 2012. Now she enjoys training for destination runs around the country and since her recent move to Colorado she is exploring her new love for trail running!

Lindsay

A Colorado native, Lindsay began running in high school for her track team. Now she runs mostly to maintain her sanity while raising three children, working, and attending school. Hiking, camping, and pretty much anything done in the Colorado Mountains are a few of her favorite things to do. At CRC, she can mainly be found behind the scenes.
